The psychiatrist will conduct initial evaluations for adults with behavioral health and related advocacy needs, working closely with healthcare advocates to help patients reach their health goals. The role centers on building care plans for a vulnerable population and addressing both psychiatric and broader health-related social needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for adults with behavioral health and advocacy needs.
- Oversee patient care plans in partnership with healthcare advocates.
- Identify and prioritize patient needs to support a streamlined care continuum.
- Address social determinants of health such as food access, transportation, and support at home.
- Learn and use the organization’s systems, tools, technology, partners, and workflows.
- Document communications and care coordination clearly and efficiently.
Required
- Board certification in adult psychiatry.
- Experience caring for adults with behavioral health needs.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Comfort working with patients who have medical needs in addition to behavioral health needs.
- Technical fluency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience working in a fast-changing, startup environment.
