This physician role focuses on functional and integrative primary care for adults with chronic conditions, using advanced diagnostics and root-cause, lifestyle-based treatment plans. Visits are a mix of virtual and in-person care, with part-time on-site work and time set aside for patient communication. The role also includes close collaboration with health coaches and care teams, plus opportunities to contribute to research or technology improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional medicine visits virtually and in person.
- Use advanced testing to identify root causes of chronic illness.
- Partner with health coaches and care teams to support patient outcomes.
- Build longitudinal relationships with patients over time.
- Document care in a proprietary electronic medical record system.
- Participate in patient communication outside scheduled visit time.
- Contribute to projects such as health outcomes research or technology improvements.
Required
- Active MD or DO license.
- Active New York medical license.
- Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or another primary care field.
- At least 3 years of primary care experience in telemedicine or in-person settings.
- Board-certified training and/or experience in functional or integrative medicine.
Preferred
- Experience practicing functional medicine.
- Formal functional medicine training, such as IFM training.
- Licensure in additional states, including CA, TX, MA, NJ, IL, PA, VA, NC, CO, GA, AZ, WA, or CT.
- DEA license.
- Familiarity with MacBook, Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom.

- Starting salary range of $80,000 to $183,333, depending on skills and experience.
