Provide telehealth outpatient nutrition counseling for patients with chronic health needs in an integrative and functional nutrition setting, with a focus on root-cause care and personalized support. Work across metabolic health, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, and broader chronic disease management through nutrition counseling, education, and health coaching. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling with consistent weekly availability, and may include evening appointments based on patient demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual outpatient nutrition counseling sessions for patients with a range of chronic conditions.
- Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition plans rooted in integrative and functional nutrition principles.
- Educate patients on sustainable lifestyle change, self-management, and long-term health habits.
- Coordinate care within a collaborative, growth-minded clinical team.
- Use telehealth workflows to deliver accessible, one-on-one nutrition support.
- Support insurance-funded medical nutrition therapy and related credentialing workflows as needed.
Required
- Current Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (RD/RDN) with CDR registration.
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care.
- Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- Minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability.
- Ability to complete major insurance credentialing before start.
Preferred
- Availability for evening appointments.
- CDCES certification.
- IFNA certification or active enrollment in IFNA training.
- Experience with integrative or functional nutrition.
- Experience working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
