Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth, with a focus on geriatric mental health concerns and life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, isolation, and loss of independence. The role also includes intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress monitoring, with support from care coordination and an AI-powered documentation tool. Clinicians work remotely with flexible scheduling and collaborate with a geriatric-focused team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and adjust care based on progress.
- Support clients through major life transitions, including retirement, bereavement, isolation, and loss of independence.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings, peer case reviews, and clinical consultation.
- Coordinate with care support staff to streamline administrative tasks and referrals.
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Licensed in Virginia.
- Ability to work at least 15 hours per week.
- Ability to work on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis.
- Experience delivering therapy via telehealth.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
