Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults through telehealth, with a focus on geriatric mental health and age-related life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, and isolation. The work includes clinical assessments, intake evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing progress monitoring. You also collaborate with a clinical support team, participate in consultation and peer case review, and use tech-enabled tools that reduce administrative work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress.
- Support clients through life transitions such as retirement, loss of independence, bereavement, and isolation.
- Maintain timely documentation in the electronic health record with AI-assisted support.
- Participate in regular team meetings, peer case reviews, and clinical consultation.
- Use compassionate, age-appropriate approaches tailored to senior clients.
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Licensed in North Carolina.
- Ability to work in a contract, part-time, or full-time capacity of at least 15 hours per week.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth-delivered therapy.
