Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth, with a focus on senior mental health concerns and common life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, isolation, and loss of independence. The role also includes clinical assessments, intake evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing progress monitoring. This is a remote, flexible practice with care coordination and documentation support, plus regular consultation with clinical leadership and peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Document care thoroughly and in a timely manner in the EHR
- Support clients through retirement, bereavement, isolation, and other major life transitions
- Participate in regular team meetings and case consultation
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Licensed in New Jersey
- Ability to provide care on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis
- Availability for at least 15 hours per week
- Experience delivering therapy via telehealth
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
