Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical assessments for older adults via telehealth, with a focus on geriatric mental health needs such as retirement, bereavement, isolation, and other life transitions. The role centers on individualized treatment planning, ongoing progress monitoring, and compassionate, age-appropriate care for seniors. Care is fully virtual, with administrative support, peer consultation, and tech-enabled documentation tools to help streamline day-to-day work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Support clients through retirement, bereavement, isolation, and other major life transitions.
- Participate in regular team meetings, peer case reviews, and clinical consultation.
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Licensed in Maine.
- Ability to work on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis with at least 15 hours per week.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and delivering therapy via telehealth.
