Provide evidence-based telehealth psychotherapy to older adults, with a focus on geriatric mental health concerns and age-related life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, and isolation. The role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress over time. Work is fully virtual, with flexible scheduling and support from a care coordination and clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and adjust care based on progress.
- Support clients through retirement, bereavement, loss of independence, and isolation.
- Maintain timely documentation in the EHR with support from an AI-powered scribe.
- Participate in regular team meetings, peer case reviews, and clinical consultation.
- Coordinate care within a support model where admin tasks are handled by the care team.
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Licensed in Connecticut.
- Ability to work on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis with at least 15 hours per week.
- Experience providing therapy via telehealth.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
