Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical assessments for older adults through telehealth, with a focus on geriatric mental health concerns and age-related life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, isolation, and loss of independence. The role also includes treatment planning, progress monitoring, and timely documentation, with admin support and an AI-powered scribe to reduce nonclinical work. Clinicians collaborate with a supportive team, including regular consultation, peer case review, and access to clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Support clients through retirement, bereavement, isolation, and other life transitions.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings and clinical consultation.
Required
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Licensed in Alaska.
- Ability to work at least 15 hours per week.
- Ability to support the practice on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis.
Preferred
- Experience working with older adults.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
- Prior experience providing therapy via telehealth.
