The Virtual Registered Nurse provides telehealth support through EMR messaging and patient communications, helping triage concerns and maintain safe, high-quality care for patients using Ro’s platform. The role supports care across mental health, women’s health, men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare, with a focus on expanding access in a tech-enabled setting. The nurse works independently while collaborating with RPM Providers and reports to an RN Lead throughout the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient triage through EMR messaging and other virtual communications.
- Provide nursing support to help ensure safe, appropriate care per RPM principles and guidelines.
- Collaborate with RPM Providers to support patient care and team optimization.
- Use technology and digital tools to manage patient interactions and reduce administrative burden.
- Troubleshoot patient-related issues as they arise in a virtual care setting.
- Participate in care delivery that supports access across multiple health domains, including mental health, women’s health, men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare.
Required
- Active Registered Nurse licensure.
- Experience working in a virtual or telehealth care setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technologically savvy and comfortable using digital care tools.
- Ability to work independently in a contracted role.

- Experience supporting patient care in non-traditional healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with telemedicine workflows.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort handling challenging situations.
