This radiology role focuses on interpreting X-ray and ultrasound studies for patients across a high-volume, remote workflow. The position is designed for late afternoon and early evening coverage, with scheduling tailored to full-time or part-time availability. Physicians work from home or another secure location using cloud-based PACS, with operational and technical support provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret X-ray and ultrasound examinations in a teleradiology setting.
- Provide remote radiology reads during late afternoon and early evening shifts.
- Use secure cloud-based PACS to review studies and complete interpretations.
- Coordinate with technical, IT, and QA support teams as needed.
- Maintain high-quality reporting in a high-volume, national practice environment.
Required
- Board certified or board eligible in Radiology.
- Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program.
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray and ultrasound studies.
- Active Illinois medical license.
Preferred
- Prior teleradiology experience.
- Experience working in a remote, cloud-based imaging workflow.
