Provide remote teleradiology reads focused on high-acuity neuro and CT body imaging, with additional interpretation of MRI, musculoskeletal studies, ultrasound, and plain films. This role is geared toward radiologists seeking flexible afternoon and evening coverage, with steady case volume and support for efficient remote practice. The position includes cloud-based PACS access, dedicated credentialing and QA support, and malpractice coverage with tail coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret neuro and CT body studies as the primary reading focus.
- Read additional imaging studies, including MRI, MSK, ultrasound, and plain films.
- Provide remote radiology coverage during afternoon and evening shifts.
- Use cloud-based PACS and related technology to complete reads efficiently.
- Coordinate with credentialing and QA teams to support workflow and quality.
- Participate in a high-volume teleradiology practice with steady case flow.
Required
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited U.S. residency program.
- Board certification or board eligibility through ABR or AOBR.
- Active Alabama medical license, or eligibility for Alabama licensure.
- Comfort reading neuro, CT, MRI, MSK, ultrasound, and plain film studies.
Preferred
- Prior teleradiology experience.
- Availability for afternoon and evening shift coverage.
- Interest in flexible remote work or moonlighting.
