Provide synchronous video visits for patients navigating perimenopause and menopause, with a focus on symptom assessment and treatment planning in a virtual setting. Care includes prescribing and managing hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal medications when clinically appropriate and legally permitted. The role is supported by telehealth tools, documentation resources, and clinical coordination within a multidisciplinary virtual practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous video visits with patients experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
- Assess symptoms and develop, adjust, and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal prescriptions, when appropriate.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for virtual care visits.
- Work independently during patient encounters while coordinating through the Pomelo network.
Required
- Active APP license as a CNM, WHNP, or NP in Indiana.
- At least 3 years of menopause care experience.
- Experience prescribing and managing hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal medications.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during visits.
Preferred
- Experience working in a virtual care or telehealth setting.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary, technology-supported care models.
