Provide medical oversight and collaborative support for a multidisciplinary virtual care team focused on perinatal, infant, and women’s health outcomes. This role centers on supervising advanced practice providers, reviewing charts, and supporting evidence-based care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. The practice uses technology-enabled, proactive care to help identify risks earlier and personalize patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain collaborative supervision relationships with advanced practice providers in accordance with state requirements.
- Provide clinical support to advanced practice providers across women’s and perinatal health care.
- Complete chart reviews for care delivered by advanced practice providers.
- Support evidence-based, high-quality care for mothers, babies, and families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, technologists, and operators.
- Work within a proactive, tech-enabled virtual care model.
Required
- Medical degree from an accredited US medical school.
- Completion of an accredited US residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology or Family Medicine with additional obstetric training.
- Active, unrestricted South Carolina medical license with ability to maintain licensure in the state.
- Board certification by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists or the American Academy of Family Physicians.
- At least 5 years of experience practicing as an attending physician.
- Experience working with CNMs and NPs.
