Provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care for patients in clinic and telehealth settings, including contraception, STI care, gender-affirming hormone therapy, abortion care, and preventive services. The role also includes patient exams and procedures, medication abortion, counseling, lab interpretation, prescribing, follow-up care, and documentation across a mission-driven reproductive health practice. Depending on clinic needs, clinicians may also perform ultrasound, colposcopy, biopsies, and potentially LEEP while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services, including contraception, STI care, gender-affirming hormone therapy, abortion care, and preventive care
- Conduct patient exams and procedures, and obtain informed consent
- Interpret lab results, prescribe treatments, and coordinate follow-up care
- Provide medication abortion services and related clinical counseling
- Perform ultrasound, colposcopy, biopsies, and potentially LEEP based on clinic needs
- Conduct preconception and menopause counseling
- Educate patients and supervise unlicensed staff during clinical sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in clinical audits
Required
- Master’s or Doctorate degree
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse-Midwife, or Physician Assistant
- Current CPR certification
- Commitment to providing the full range of sexual and reproductive health care
- Ability to remain active throughout shifts
Preferred
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Prior experience in sexual and reproductive health care
- Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Brazilian Portuguese fluency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
