Provide virtual-first gastrointestinal care for adults with complex digestive conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning focused on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD. Care is delivered through video visits and chat messaging within an evidence-based telemedicine model. The role also includes coordinating with physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators to support whole-person digestive health.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for gastrointestinal conditions
- Provide care focused on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD through video visits and chat messaging
- Collaborate with GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators
- Use evidence-based clinical protocols, including ROME IV criteria and AGA/ACG guidelines
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EHR
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training
- Coordinate cross-licensure activities and maintain good standing with required licenses and certifications
- Adapt to early morning, evening, and weekend scheduling to support patient access
Required
- Current licensure as a CRNP or APRN
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing
- Current Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner certification from ANCC, AANP, or another qualifying agency
- At least 3 years of outpatient gastroenterology experience
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams
- Current licensure in New Mexico, Nevada, California, Utah, or Arizona
Preferred
- Licensure in two additional states, with willingness and ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Prior telehealth platform experience
- Experience with Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or similar tools
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment
