Provide virtual-first gastrointestinal care for adults with complex digestive conditions, with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for DGBIs, GERD, and IBD. This role also includes coordinated follow-up through video visits and chat messaging, with care delivered in partnership with GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators. The practice uses evidence-based GI protocols and a whole-person, tech-enabled care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for gastrointestinal conditions.
- Provide care for patients with DGBIs, GERD, IBD, and other digestive health concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to build coordinated care plans.
- Use evidence-based protocols, including ROME IV criteria and AGA/ACG guidelines, in daily practice.
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EHR.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training.
- Manage care through video visits and chat messaging in a remote-first workflow.
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to support patient access needs.
Required
- Current CRNP or APRN licensure.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing.
- Current ANCC, AANP, or other qualifying certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- At least 3 years of gastroenterology experience in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, psychologists, and registered dietitians.
- Must hold compact licensure.
Preferred
- Licensure in 2 additional states, or willingness and ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Experience with Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or similar tools.
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment with evolving workflows.
