Provide virtual-first gastroenterology care for adults with complex digestive conditions, with a focus on disorders of gut-brain interaction, GERD, and IBD. Use video visits and chat messaging to assess, diagnose, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in a remote care model. Work closely with GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for gastrointestinal conditions.
- Provide care through video visits and chat messaging.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient plans.
- Follow evidence-based protocols, including ROME IV criteria and AGA/ACG guidelines.
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EHR.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and ongoing professional training.
- Maintain active licensure and pursue additional state licensure as needed.
Required
- Current licensure as a CRNP or APRN.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing.
- Current ANCC, AANP, or equivalent certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- At least 3 years of outpatient gastroenterology experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other multidisciplinary clinicians.
Preferred
- Licensure in additional states, with ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Experience with Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or similar tools.
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment.
