Provide HIPAA-compliant virtual consultations for patients seeking hormone optimization, with a primary focus on HRT/TRT, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss. Review intake information and lab results, create individualized treatment plans, and guide patients on expected outcomes and next steps. Work independently within established protocols while collaborating with an interdisciplinary telehealth care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine visits by secure video, phone, and asynchronous messaging.
- Review patient intake forms and laboratory data before and during consultations.
- Develop personalized HRT/TRT, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss plans.
- Determine appropriate care pathways during initial evaluations.
- Educate patients about treatment options, expectations, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the telehealth workflow.
- Collaborate with other providers through charting and internal messaging.
- Follow established clinical protocols and contribute feedback to quality and operations.
Required
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in at least 10 states.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- At least 3 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
- Experience managing male and female hormone replacement therapy.
- Background in medical weight loss or peptide therapy.
- Strong knowledge of endocrinology and pharmacology.
Preferred
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Strong patient education and communication skills.
- Comfort working independently within clinical guidelines.
