Provide fully virtual nurse practitioner care for patients with sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, through video visits, phone consultations, asynchronous messaging, and connected device data review. Evaluate symptoms, review histories, and develop evidence-based treatment plans focused on sleep health and patient education. This role is part-time and independent contractor-based, with care delivered entirely remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations through video, phone, and asynchronous messaging
- Obtain and review patient histories, evaluate symptoms, and perform virtual assessments
- Diagnose sleep-related conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Review patient data from connected devices and other available clinical information
- Provide patient education and communicate care recommendations clearly
- Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals through charting and secure messaging
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while meeting quality and productivity expectations
Required
- Active, unrestricted APRN license
- Active licensure in at least 10 states, including Minnesota
- Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP, or another nationally recognized certifying organization
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine
- At least 1 year of telemedicine or virtual care experience
Preferred
- Sleep medicine experience
- Licensure in several of the listed states, including Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia
