Provide virtual neurology care for children with neurological complaints, with a focus on diagnosis, ongoing treatment planning, and medication management. Patients may include those with headaches, epilepsy, memory concerns, and other pediatric neurologic conditions, with support for lifestyle guidance and symptom management. The role also includes patient messaging, review of labs and imaging, and creating educational content in a tech-enabled, multidisciplinary care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate children with neurological complaints and develop diagnosis and care plans.
- Provide follow-up visits to monitor symptoms and adjust medications.
- Review appropriate labs and imaging to support clinical decision-making.
- Provide chat-based support to patients navigating ongoing care.
- Develop educational content for blogs and the content library.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support continuity and patient experience.
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner to meet organizational standards.
Required
- Board certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), or board eligibility.
- Active medical license in Florida.
- Active DEA registration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical licenses in California, New York, and additional states as requested.
Preferred
- Experience caring for pediatric neurological disorders.
- Prior telehealth or virtual neurology experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
