Provide virtual neurology care for patients with memory complaints and dementia-related concerns, with a primary focus on evaluation, diagnosis, and longitudinal management. Visits include reviewing labs and imaging, adjusting medications over time, and supporting patients with practical care plans that address sleep, stress, exercise, and diet. The role also includes chat-based support and contributing educational content within a tech-enabled, multidisciplinary practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and examine patients with memory complaints.
- Provide diagnoses and individualized care plans to guide ongoing brain health management.
- Review labs and imaging relevant to patient care.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits and adjust medications as needed.
- Provide chat-based support to patients navigating difficult care journeys.
- Generate educational content for blogs and the content library.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in a virtual workflow.
Required
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- ABPN certification or eligibility in Neurology.
- Ability to commit to at least 8 hours per week for part-time work or 32 patient-facing hours for full-time work.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based treatment of memory disorders.
- Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort working in a tech-enabled, chat-supported care model.
