Provide live pediatric telehealth care while precepting graduate health students during virtual rotations, with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, and family-centered care. The role combines direct patient care with teaching and includes supervising learners in real time, giving feedback, and completing brief evaluations. It is fully remote and designed for clinicians who already practice via telemedicine and want flexible, self-set availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during live pediatric telehealth encounters.
- Model pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and family-centered care.
- Provide real-time feedback to learners during virtual visits.
- Complete brief rotation evaluations for precepted students.
- Maintain the standard of care during telemedicine patient encounters.
- Coordinate with the platform for student matching and scheduling.
Required
- Active, unrestricted license as a pediatrician (MD/DO), pediatric NP (PNP), or PA with substantial pediatric experience.
- Board certification in pediatrics or pediatric primary care.
- Clean licensing and disciplinary history.
- Current malpractice coverage.
- Active telemedicine practice with comfort supervising students.
