Provide interim telehealth outpatient psychiatric care for adults, including psychiatric evaluations, new patient intakes, follow-up visits, and medication management. The role centers on maintaining continuity of care for established patients while working within a supported clinic workflow. Documentation and medication ordering are completed in Cerner, with collaboration from clinic staff and MindCare Solutions’ clinical and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth.
- Provide care for adult patients during new patient intakes and follow-up appointments.
- Document encounters and enter medication orders in the clinic’s EHR (Cerner).
- Work collaboratively with clinic staff to support continuity of care.
- Participate in a supported interim coverage model for outpatient psychiatry.
Required
- Active Wyoming medical license.
- DEA registration, or ability to obtain it quickly.
- MD degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry.
- Comfort providing care in a telehealth setting and using an EHR for documentation and orders.
- Ability to complete facility credentialing and onboarding.
Preferred
- PMHNP candidates with at least 3 years of experience serving outpatient clinics in Wyoming.
