This role focuses on telehealth psychiatric care for adults with common outpatient mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and mild-to-moderate OCD. The clinician conducts comprehensive evaluations, develops treatment plans, and prescribes medications in a fully remote setting with strong operational support. The practice uses a proprietary EMR, integrated e-prescribing and PDMP tools, and AI-supported documentation to reduce administrative work and support steady patient flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth.
- Review patient histories, symptoms, medications, and relevant background.
- Diagnose and treat adult outpatient mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust care as needed.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, within clinical and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up care.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support care continuity.
Required
- Board Certified Physician (MD or DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Active DEA registration.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment.
- Experience prescribing controlled substances.
- Ability to work approximately 15 hours per week minimum preferred for patient continuity.
Preferred
- Multi-state medical licensure.
- Board certification in psychiatry.
