Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult patients with common outpatient mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and mild-to-moderate OCD. Care focuses on individualized treatment plans, follow-up medication management, and patient education, with strong administrative and technology support to reduce nonclinical work. This is a fully remote 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling and a streamlined telehealth workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth.
- Review patient history, symptoms, medications, and relevant background.
- Diagnose and treat adult outpatient conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust care over follow-up visits.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up care.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR and complete notes and prescriptions within required timeframes.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support patient care and continuity.
Required
- Board Certified Physician (MD or DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active and unrestricted medical license, with multi-state licensure preferred.
- Active DEA registration.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment.
- Experience prescribing controlled substances.
- Ability to work a minimum of about 15 hours per week.
Preferred
- Board certification in psychiatry.
