The clinician provides remote psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on mental health assessment, medication management, and individualized treatment planning. The role also includes coordinating referrals as needed, maintaining documentation, and supporting patients across a collaborative telepsychiatry setting. Clinicians are supported by a technology platform, administrative support, and an experienced operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Provide medication management and therapeutic care.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Coordinate referrals when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the care team to improve patient experience and outcomes.
Required
- Active California Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current California DEA registration.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
- Experience in medication management and therapeutic care.
Preferred
- Credentialing with major government and commercial payers, such as Medi-Cal, LA Care, CalOptima, Medicare, TriWest, and TRICARE.
