Provide virtual care for women and families across women’s health and metabolic health needs, with a focus on contraception, menopause/perimenopause, weight management, and related hormonal care. This role also includes medication management, lab review, patient education, and protocol-driven follow-up in a digital care model. Physicians collaborate closely with clinical and care teams while helping refine workflows, safety criteria, and clinical protocols for a scalable telehealth program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct video and asynchronous telehealth visits for members seeking women’s health and metabolic care.
- Provide counseling and treatment for contraception, hormonal transitions, menopause, weight management, and metabolic health.
- Prescribe and manage medications such as GLP-1 receptor agonists, hormonal therapy, and contraceptives.
- Order and interpret labs, and adjust treatment plans based on protocol and clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors, NPs, RNs, and health coaches to support safe and consistent care.
- Contribute to clinical protocol development, workflow optimization, safety criteria, and escalation frameworks.
- Document accurately in the EMR and maintain quality and compliance standards.
- Participate in case reviews, QA audits, and clinician learning sessions.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB-GYN.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Ability to obtain or hold licensure in multiple states.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience in primary care, women’s health, metabolic or obesity medicine, or telehealth.
Preferred
- Current licensure in 5 or more states.
- Experience with women’s health, metabolic medicine, obesity medicine, or telehealth.
- Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-evolving care model.
- Interest in future supervisory or clinical leadership responsibilities.
