This clinician provides fully remote psychiatric evaluations, biopsychosocial intakes, and medication management for college students with common mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders. The role also includes ongoing care coordination, documentation, and collaboration with campus-based treatment teams and care navigation staff. Work is flexible and fee-for-service, with virtual care delivered through a collaboration portal and support from clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits for college students.
- Provide biopsychosocial intakes and diagnostic assessments with a whole-person care focus.
- Engage with patients through the collaboration portal.
- Collaborate with supervisors, peers, on-campus treatment providers, and care navigation staff.
- Document clinical encounters to support care coordination.
- Coordinate longer-term treatment plans with campus care teams when needed.
- Assess urgency and escalate risk scenarios appropriately.
Required
- Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Massachusetts.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.
- Have experience treating common mental health conditions in college-aged patients.
- Be comfortable providing culturally responsive care to diverse patient groups.
- Have a quality video camera and stable internet connection for virtual care.
Preferred
- Hold multi-state licensure.
- Have experience with college student mental health care.
- Have experience with weekend or evening availability.
