This contract psychiatrist role focuses on virtual psychiatric care for individuals and families needing accessible, culturally responsive mental health treatment. Work includes live video intake visits, follow-up appointments, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. Care is delivered within a connected, technology-enabled network with easy referral pathways to therapy and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live video intake evaluations and regular follow-up visits.
- Provide psychiatric assessments and medication management.
- Support whole-person, whole-family mental health care for patients with diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.
- Deliver culturally responsive care that reflects each patient’s background and care experience.
- Use the provider platform and matching tools to support efficient virtual care delivery.
Required
- MD or DO with training in psychiatry.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- Ability to provide care via telehealth/video visits.
- Eligible to work as a 1099 contractor.
Preferred
- Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care.
- Interest in whole-person, family-centered mental health care.
- Comfort working in a tech-enabled, collaborative care model.
