Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for patients of diverse backgrounds through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-up appointments. Day-to-day work centers on psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with care delivered in a whole-person, whole-family mental health model. The role also includes easy referral to therapy and coaching services, supported by a connected provider network and technology-enabled platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute video intake psychiatric evaluations.
- Provide ongoing follow-up visits and medication management.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care tailored to patients’ backgrounds, needs, and abilities.
- Work within a connected network of therapists, physicians, and coaches.
- Use the provider platform and matching technology to support care delivery.
- Participate in clinical consultation and training opportunities as available.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board eligibility or board certification in Psychiatry.
- Ability to provide care as an independent contractor.
- Experience delivering psychiatric care via telehealth or video visits.
Preferred
- Experience providing whole-person or family-centered mental health care.
- Interest in culturally responsive psychiatric care.
- Comfort working in a multidisciplinary, tech-enabled care model.
