The psychiatrist provides evidence-based virtual psychiatric care for patients seeking accessible, culturally responsive mental health treatment, with live 60-minute intake visits and regular follow-ups. Day-to-day work centers on psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with referral coordination to therapy and coaching services as needed. Care is delivered through a connected, tech-enabled network with support for matching, scheduling, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute video psychiatric intake evaluations.
- Provide ongoing follow-up visits and medication management.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care for individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Use the provider platform and advanced matching tools to support care delivery.
- Participate in a connected network that includes clinical consultation and training support.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- Active medical licensure with ability to provide care as a psychiatrist.
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
Preferred
- Experience with virtual care or telepsychiatry.
- Interest in whole-person, whole-family mental health care.
- Comfort working in a tech-enabled, collaborative care model.
