The psychiatrist provides evidence-based mental health care for individuals through live video intake visits and regular follow-up appointments, with a focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Care is delivered within a whole-person, whole-family model that emphasizes culturally responsive treatment and easy referral to therapy and coaching when needed. The role is contracted and supported by an integrated, AI-powered provider platform and clinical consultation resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute psychiatric intake evaluations via video.
- Provide follow-up psychiatric care and medication management.
- Use evidence-based treatment approaches for mental health conditions.
- Refer patients to therapy and coaching services as part of coordinated care.
- Deliver culturally responsive care tailored to patients’ backgrounds, needs, and abilities.
- Work within a connected provider network alongside therapists, physicians, and coaches.
- Participate in a support model that includes training, clinical consultation, and provider platform tools.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- Ability to provide psychiatric care via telehealth/video visits.
- Contractor status under Lyra Clinical Associates.
