Provide evidence-based psychiatric care through live video intake and follow-up visits, with a focus on psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and mental health needs. Care is delivered within a connected, tech-enabled network that also makes it easy to refer patients to therapy and coaching services when needed. The role emphasizes whole-person, culturally responsive care and coordination with other behavioral health providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute video intake psychiatric evaluations.
- Provide regular virtual follow-up visits for ongoing psychiatric care.
- Manage medications and adjust treatment plans based on patient response.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services as appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care to patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
- Collaborate within a connected behavioral health network and use supporting provider technology.
Required
- MD or DO with training in psychiatry.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- Ability to provide care as a contract psychiatrist.
Preferred
- Experience providing telepsychiatry or virtual mental health care.
- Interest in whole-person, whole-family mental health care.
- Experience working in culturally responsive care settings.
