Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for a diverse adult population through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-up appointments, with a focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Care is delivered in a whole-person, whole-family mental health model that emphasizes culturally responsive treatment and easy referral to therapy and coaching. The role is contract-based and supported by an integrated provider platform with matching technology, scheduling support, and opportunities for training and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute video psychiatric intake evaluations.
- Provide regular follow-up psychiatric appointments via telehealth.
- Manage medications and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care for individuals with diverse backgrounds, needs, and abilities.
- Participate in a connected provider network with access to clinical consultation and training.
Required
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
- Active licensure to practice psychiatry in the relevant state.
- Experience providing evidence-based mental health care.
Preferred
- Experience with telepsychiatry or virtual care.
- Interest in whole-person or family-centered mental health treatment.
- Experience working with culturally diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with integrated care models or collaborative behavioral health services.
