Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for patients through live video intake visits and regular follow-up appointments, with a focus on mental health evaluation and medication management. The work includes risk assessment, longitudinal treatment planning, prescribing, and coordination with therapy and coaching services as part of a connected, tech-enabled care model. Care is delivered to people from varied backgrounds and is designed to be culturally responsive and patient-centered.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute psychiatric intake appointments and regular follow-up visits via live video
- Provide mental health risk assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and ongoing medication treatment
- Construct patient-centered treatment plans and document treatment recommendations
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Message patients as part of longitudinal care
- Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services
- Use evidence-based, measurement-based care and clinical best-practice guidelines
Required
- MD or DO with training in psychiatry
- Ability to provide psychiatric medication management
- Experience and commitment to evidence-based mental health treatment
