The psychiatrist provides evidence-based mental health care through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-up appointments, with a focus on psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs. Care is delivered in a connected, culturally responsive model that also supports referral to therapy and coaching when needed. The role is contracted and part of a network that includes both virtual and in-person clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 60-minute video psychiatric intake evaluations.
- Provide regular follow-up visits focused on medication management.
- Assess and treat patients with a range of mental health needs and abilities.
- Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.
- Deliver culturally responsive, whole-person mental health care.
- Work within a connected clinical network alongside therapists, physicians, and coaches.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
- Experience providing outpatient mental health care.
Preferred
- Experience with telepsychiatry or virtual care.
- Interest in whole-person or family-centered mental health care.
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled care model.
