Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and follow-up appointments, with a focus on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. Care is coordinated with therapy and coaching services as needed, and the role emphasizes culturally responsive, family-engaged treatment. This is a contract position supported by a tech-enabled provider platform with clinical consultation and scheduling support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live 30-minute video intake appointments.
- Provide ongoing follow-up care and medication management.
- Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.
- Deliver culturally responsive care to patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs and abilities.
- Engage families in treatment and clinical decision-making.
- Use the provider platform and support tools to streamline scheduling and patient care.
- Participate in clinical consultation and ongoing practice improvement.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant qualification for pediatric/adolescent psychiatric care.
- Experience providing clinical care to children and adolescents.
- Ability to conduct video-based patient visits.
- Prescriptive authority and ability to manage psychiatric medications, as allowed by licensure.
