Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-up appointments. The work centers on psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management, with referrals to therapy and coaching when clinically appropriate. Care is delivered in a collaborative, tech-enabled model that supports family engagement, culturally responsive treatment, and ongoing clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live 30-minute video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management and follow-up care for child and adolescent patients.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services as part of coordinated care.
- Deliver culturally responsive care tailored to children, teens, and young adults from diverse backgrounds.
- Engage families in the treatment process and support ethical, patient-centered practice.
- Participate in continuous improvement and clinical consultation within the provider network.
Required
- Active licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Ability to provide care via video visits.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based mental health treatment.
- Prior work in a collaborative, telehealth-based care model.
- Experience caring for young adults in addition to pediatric patients.
