Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and follow-up appointments, with a focus on diagnostic assessment and medication management. Care is integrated with referral pathways to therapy and coaching, and is delivered in a culturally responsive way for members with diverse backgrounds and needs. This contract role is supported by a provider platform, advanced matching technology, and clinical consultation resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live video intake appointments and regular follow-up visits.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations for pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients.
- Manage medications as part of evidence-based mental health treatment.
- Refer patients to therapy and coaching services when clinically appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care that accounts for each patient’s background and experience.
- Use the provider platform and support resources for scheduling, consultation, and clinical workflow support.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant credentialing for pediatric/adolescent psychiatric care.
- Experience providing mental health care to children, teens, or young adults.
- Ability to deliver care via video-based telehealth visits.
- Contractor status as a 1099 clinician.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary or coordinated behavioral health care models.
- Familiarity with family engagement in pediatric mental health care.
