Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-up appointments, with a focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. The role also includes referral coordination for therapy and coaching services, along with culturally responsive care for patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs and abilities. This is a contract role with a tech-enabled platform that supports matching, scheduling, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live 30-minute video intake appointments.
- Provide follow-up care and medication management for child and adolescent patients.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services as needed.
- Deliver culturally responsive care that reflects each patient’s background and experience.
- Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary mental health network of therapists, physicians, and coaches.
- Use the provider platform and matching tools to support scheduling and care delivery.
- Participate in training and clinical consultation opportunities as available.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensure.
- Experience or training in child and adolescent mental health care.
- Ability to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Comfort delivering care via live video visits.
- Contractor status is required for this role.
