Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intakes and follow-up visits, with a focus on diagnostic assessment and medication management. Care is integrated with referral pathways to therapy and coaching, and the role emphasizes family engagement, culturally responsive treatment, and ongoing clinical improvement. This is a contract position within a tech-enabled mental health network that offers provider support for matching, scheduling, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management for child and adolescent patients.
- Deliver follow-up care through regular virtual appointments.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services as needed.
- Engage families and support culturally responsive care across diverse backgrounds.
- Participate in ongoing clinical consultation and continuous improvement efforts.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant credential appropriate for prescribing care.
- Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Ability to deliver care via telehealth/video visits.
Preferred
- Experience working with young adults in addition to pediatric patients.
- Background in evidence-based mental health care.
