Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake and follow-up visits, with a focus on evaluation and medication management. The role also involves referring patients to therapy and coaching services as part of coordinated mental health care. Care is delivered in a culturally responsive, tech-enabled model with support from matching technology and a provider platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management for child and adolescent patients.
- Deliver regular follow-up care via telehealth.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Engage families in care and support patient treatment planning.
- Use a provider platform and matching technology to support clinical workflows.
- Participate in culturally responsive, evidence-based mental health care.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensure and ability to practice in the relevant setting.
- Experience providing psychiatric or behavioral health care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Strong diagnostic skills and competence in medication management.
- Ability to deliver care in a virtual/video-based format.
