Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and regular follow-ups, with a focus on diagnosis, medication management, and family engagement. The role also supports referrals to therapy and coaching services, and emphasizes culturally responsive care for patients from diverse backgrounds and abilities. This is a contract position within a tech-enabled behavioral health network that includes clinical consultation and provider support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management for pediatric and young adult patients.
- Deliver follow-up care through regular virtual appointments.
- Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.
- Engage families in the care process when clinically appropriate.
- Apply culturally responsive care tailored to each patient’s background and needs.
- Collaborate with a broader provider network and use available clinical consultation support.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant credentials for a prescribing role.
- Experience providing psychiatric or behavioral health care.
- Ability to care for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ethical clinical care.
