Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intakes and follow-up visits, with a focus on evaluation and medication management. The role also includes coordinating referrals to therapy and coaching services as part of a broader mental health care plan. Care is delivered through a tech-enabled, virtual model with support for scheduling, provider matching, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live 30-minute video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management for child and adolescent patients.
- Deliver follow-up care and monitor treatment response over time.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Engage families in care planning and support culturally responsive treatment.
- Collaborate with a provider platform that supports matching, training, and clinical consultation.
Required
- Active licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Ability to conduct care via video visits.
- Contracted 1099 arrangement.
