This contract role provides virtual psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults, with a focus on psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management. Visits include live 30-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up appointments, with evidence-based treatment tailored to diverse patient needs. The clinician also collaborates with therapy and coaching services and works within a tech-enabled platform that supports matching, consultation, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live 30-minute video intake appointments and follow-up visits.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for pediatric and young adult patients.
- Manage medications and deliver evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
- Coordinate referrals to therapy and coaching services as part of integrated care.
- Support culturally responsive care for patients from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Participate in a provider network with clinical consultation and platform-supported workflows.
Required
- Current license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Experience or training in child and adolescent psychiatric care.
- Ability to provide virtual care through video-based visits.
- Contractor status compatible with 1099 work.
