Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and ongoing follow-ups, with a focus on evaluation and medication management. The role also includes referring patients to therapy and coaching services as part of a coordinated mental health treatment plan. Care is delivered through a tech-enabled platform with support for matching, scheduling, training, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live video intake appointments.
- Provide medication management for child and adolescent patients.
- Provide ongoing follow-up care via virtual visits.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care that reflects each patient’s background and needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health network that includes therapists, physicians, and coaches.
- Use the provider platform and matching tools to support patient care and workflow.
Required
- Be a licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Have experience or training in child and adolescent mental health care.
- Provide care on a contract basis as a 1099 contractor.
Preferred
- Have experience delivering virtual psychiatric care.
- Have experience working with culturally diverse pediatric and young adult populations.
- Have comfort coordinating care with therapy and coaching services.
