Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for children, teens, and young adults through live video intake visits and regular follow-ups, with a focus on diagnostic evaluation and medication management. The work also includes referring patients to therapy and coaching services as part of a coordinated behavioral health approach. Care is delivered through a virtual, tech-enabled network with support for matching, scheduling, training, and clinical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations during live 30-minute video intake appointments.
- Provide ongoing medication management during follow-up visits.
- Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.
- Deliver culturally responsive care for patients from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Engage families as part of pediatric and adolescent behavioral health care.
- Apply ethical practice and continuous quality improvement in clinical decision-making.
- Use the provider platform and advanced matching tools to support care delivery.
Required
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensure.
- Experience or training in child and adolescent behavioral health care.
- Ability to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Comfort providing care via telehealth/video visits.
Preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Prior experience in evidence-based mental health care.
- Familiarity with collaborative care involving therapy and coaching referrals.
