This role provides clinical leadership and direct oversight for outpatient pediatric prescribing providers, with a focus on evidence-based, culturally responsive mental health care. The clinician also contributes to clinical quality strategy and supports the development of high-performing teams within a pediatric outpatient setting. This is a leadership position with an administrative and clinical management component.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct oversight of a section of outpatient pediatric prescribing providers.
- Contribute to the clinical vision and quality strategy for pediatric outpatient services.
- Support clinical quality assurance and standards of care.
- Promote evidence-based and culturally responsive mental health care.
- Help develop and support high-performing clinical teams.
- Manage the administrative and clinical oversight of licensed independent providers.
- Report to the Medical Director of Pediatric Outpatient Services.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Psychiatry training with experience caring for pediatric patients.
- Experience in clinical and administrative management of licensed independent providers.
- Substantial experience in clinical leadership or oversight roles.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based mental health care.
- Experience with culturally responsive care.
- Background in clinical quality assurance.
