Provide virtual patient care for adults seeking weight management and long-term metabolic health support, including synchronous and asynchronous telehealth visits. The role includes reviewing intake information, medical histories, and lab results to determine appropriate treatment plans using independent clinical judgment. Physicians or nurse practitioners collaborate closely with care coordination and operations teams in a remote-first practice model that emphasizes compliance, documentation, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations, including synchronous and asynchronous visits as applicable.
- Review intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results.
- Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate.
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-ups, and treatment adjustments as needed.
- Document encounters, clinical decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support adherence and outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.
- Participate as an active clinical member of the Professional Corporation group.
Required
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, or an active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for physicians, or board certification as FNP, AGNP, or equivalent for nurse practitioners.
- Eligibility to practice telemedicine in licensed states.
- Multi-state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.
- Excellent clinical judgment, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Licensure in multiple U.S. states, with 30+ state coverage strongly preferred.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
